FAQ's

If I'm planning to come by boat do I still have to book rooms at the resort? No, you're welcome to be a part of PHIP2010 and stay on your boat there at the resort marina. Important - If you're coming by boat and not planning to purchase an Island Pass but wish to attend the Saturday night beach party/buffett down on the beach, you'll need to purchase a ticket for this event in advance. The cost is $55 per person. Contact Lori Lachnicht at the resort at (800) 468- 4799 to purchase tickets. The deadline to purchase tickets is Sat. July 24, one week before our arrival date.

If I’d like to attend but would rather not stay at the resort, can I still attend the events? No. You have to stay at the resort in order to attend Parrish Heads in Paradise 2010. The resort is private which means if you’re not a guest then unfortunately you’re not authorized to be on the property.

When's the deadline to register? The deadline to purchase your Parrish Heads Passes and make your reservations at the resort is June 30th.

I compared the group rates for PHIP 2010 to the rates offered on the resort website. It's only about $18 a night cheaper. What's up with that? The difference is, with our group rate all taxes and surcharges are included. We're talking about a 19% service charge, plus a $10 (per night) energy surcharge. If you do the math, I'd say that's a pretty good rate!

How do I know if I'm registered? If you purchased a Parrish Heads Pass, you're registered. Your credentials will be in your captain's bag at check-in. Remember, you still have to make reservations at the resort.

What if I want to stay longer than five nights? Can I arrive a day or two early, or stay a day or two later? Absolutely! Although you won't receive the same per-night group rate on those particular nights, you'll still be offered a discounted rate considerably lower than the seasonal rate posted on the Abaco Beach Resort website (assuming they have rooms available).

Can kids come? Children under the age of 12 can stay free in their parents' room using existing bedding. Any person over the age of 12 staying in a room needs to be either on the package (in order to receive package privileges) or will be charged $50 per night and will not have package privileges.
